How Does Van Shipping Work
3 Easy steps to move your van
Get a quote & Book an order
To provide you with an accurate quote, we need the pickup and delivery zip codes, make and model of your van, and your contact details (email and/or phone number). After you request a quote, we’ll send you detailed information and a secure link to book your order. For order submission, we require pickup and delivery addresses. To finalize the deal, we’ll send you an agreement to sign.
Driver picks up your vehicle
Once we schedule a driver within your requested timeframe, we’ll notify you via email and text with the carrier’s details. The day before pickup, the driver will contact you to finalize the exact time and location, adjusting for any street constraints like dead ends or narrow roads. The driver will also call you an hour or two before pickup to confirm his arrival.
Receive your vehicle
The driver will contact you in advance of delivery to arrange the exact time. Upon unloading your van from the trailer, please inspect it for any damages. Payment is due to the driver upon delivery, either in cash or certified funds. Your feedback is valuable to us, so please leave a review about your experience with our service and the driver.

FAQ
Can I ship my van if it’s inoperable?
Yes, we work with lots of carriers specializing in the transportation of inoperable vehicles. Simply mark your vehicle as inoperable in a quote form and you'll get rates for shipping non-running vans. Then tell your shipping agent what exactly is wrong with a vehicle, so the company will send you the driver with the required equipment on the trailer.
How is the shipping cost for a van determined?
The cost depends on factors like the size and weight of the van, the distance of the transport, the shipping method (open or enclosed), and the time of year.
Do I need to prepare my van before shipping?
Yes, you should ensure the van is clean, remove personal items, perform a maintenance check, and document any existing damage for insurance purposes.
Is my van insured during transport?
Absolutely. Your van is insured against damage and theft during transit. It's advisable to ask for the insurance details and understand the coverage before shipping.
How long does van shipping take?
The time frame varies based on distance, route, and weather conditions. Typically, it can range from a few days to a couple of weeks.
What is the difference between open and enclosed van shipping?
Open shipping is more common and affordable, where vans are transported on an open trailer. Enclosed shipping provides more protection against the elements and is typically used for luxury or vintage vans.
